Annual Plant Sale

05/17/2014 09:00

Come to the 3rd Annual Plant Sale!  Sponsored by the Marshall Native Gardens Initiative (part of the Friends of Madison County Library), all proceeds from this event will go to constructing and maintaining beautiful educational gardens at the Madison County Library in Marshall.  Bring the entire family and enjoy:

  • Live local music by Primrose
  • Plenty of food & refreshments
  • Baked goods
  • A large variety of garden perennial plants and vegetables for sale
  • All sorts of garden treasures too!

This is a great place to find all sorts of plants for outside and inside your home at very low prices.  And, for the first time, this year we will be selling a variety of native shrubs and trees from Carolina Native Nursery and Bear Wallow Wild Native Trees and Shrubs Nursery.  These high quality offerings are larger potted plants that will immediately enhance your landscape.  Sow True Seeds, a local seed producing company, will also be providing a selection of their heirloom vegetable seeds for our sale for gardeners who like to grow from seed.

The Madison County Animal Shelter will again have a booth, so plan to check out all the puppies and kittens.  In addition to these festive activities, at noon we will be dedicating the new seating area donated by Mary Colvin in memory of her husband Stan Colvin.
